چکیده
Context: We present a new study of the eclipsing cataclysmic variable CzeV404 Her (Porb = 0.098 d) that is located in period gap. Aims: This report determines origin object and system parameters probes accretion flow structure system. Methods: conducted simultaneous time-resolved photometric spectroscopic observations Her. applied our light-curve modelling techniques Doppler tomography method to determine analyse disk. Results: found has massive white dwarf M_WD 1.00(2) M_sun mass ratio q 0.16, relatively hot secondary with an effective temperature T_2 4100(50) K. The inclination i 78.8{\deg}. disk spreads out tidal limitation radius extended spot or line region. hotter than remaining outer part quiescence intermediate state, but does not stand completely from flux (super)outbursts. Conclusions: claim this represents link between two distinct classes SU UMa-type SW Sex-type variables. corresponds Sex systems, physical conditions inside fit behaviour objects.

Cataclysmic variable evolution: AM Her binaries and the period gap
AM Her variables – synchronised magnetic cataclysmic variables (CVs) – exhibit a different period distribution from other CVs across the period gap. We show that non-AM Her systems may infiltrate the longer-period end of the period gap if they are metal-deficient, but that the position and width of the gap in orbital period is otherwise insensitive to other binary parameters (excepting the norm...
متن کاملSonification of of Kepler Field Su Uma Cataclysmic Variable Stars V344 Lyr and V1504 Cyg
Sonification is the conversion of quantitative data into sound. In this work we explain the methods used in the sonification of light curves provided by the Kepler instrument from Q2 through Q6 for the cataclysmic variable systems V344 Lyr and V1504 Cyg . Both systems are SU UMa stars showing dwarf nova outbursts and superoutbursts as well as positive and negative superhumps. Focused sonificati...
متن کاملGZ Cancri : a cataclysmic variable at the lower edge of the period gap ⋆
We present calibrated photometry and time-resolved spectroscopy of the cataclysmic variable GZ Cnc. Radial velocities of the Hα emission line reveal an orbital period of 0.08825(28) d, or 2.118(07) h, placing the system at the lower edge of the period gap. One of our observations catches the system on the rise to an overlooked, possibly small-amplitude, outburst. At certain phases during this s...
متن کاملOn Echo Outbursts and ER UMa Supercycles in SU UMa-type Cataclysmic Variables
I present a variation on Osaki’s tidal-thermal-instability model for SU UMa behavior. I suggest that in systems with the lowest mass ratios, the angular-momentum dissipation in an eccentric disk is unable to sustain the disk on the hot side of the thermal instability. This decoupling of the tidal and thermal instabilities in systems with q. 0.07 allows a better explanation of the ‘echo’ outburs...
متن کاملThe new cataclysmic variable RX J1554.2+2721 in the period gap
We report on the results of a spectroscopic and photometric study of a new cataclysmic variable, identified as optical counterpart of the X-ray source RXJ1554.2+2721 detected by ROSAT. The spectroscopic observations of the relatively bright (∼ 16. 5) object show systematic radial velocity variations with a semiamplitude of ∼140 km/sec. Besides the clear presence of distinct low and high states ...
